L’ITECH Lyon, une institution centenaire L’ITECH Lyon (l’Institut textile et chimique de Lyon) est un établissement d’enseignement supérieur français qui forme des ingénieurs dans les domaines des polymères et leurs applications notamment en matériaux textiles, cuir, chimie, plastiques et composites.Ses origines remontent à plus d’un siècle lorsque l’École de Tannerie ouvre ses portes en 1899. Par la suite, l’école est devenue l’ITECH, en 1988, sous l’impulsion de différents syndicats professionnels.Héritière de la fusion de l’École Supérieure des Industries textiles de Lyon (ESITL) et de l’École française de Tannerie (EFT), l’ITECH est membre de la Conférence des grandes écoles et habilitée, depuis 2020, par la Commission des Titres d’Ingénieurs (CTI).Aujourd’hui, l’ITECH Lyon compte :plus de 500 élèves en formation ;16 enseignants-chercheurs ;15 universités partenaires.
